Jamie Kreidstein is a PhD student in School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University. Her research focuses on interpersonal predictors of adolescents’ AI use for emotional support and companionship.
Jamie completed a two-year practicum at McGill’s Psychoeducational and Counselling clinic, and a year-long placement at Summit School with neurodiverse students, providing psychoeducational and academic assessments. In 2026-2027, Jamie is receiving training at Heart and Hands Pediatric Clinic, providing socioemotional assessments, and developing holistic interventions with a multidisciplinary team for youth from underserved populations. Jamie is dedicated to delivering strengths-based, developmentally appropriate care that supports each child’s unique abilities and encourages growth through collaboration with families.
