
DEBORAH LEVY
SOCIAL WORKER
Deborah is a social worker with 20 years experience working in the public and private sector and has extensive experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She specializes in areas associated with anxiety, peer relationships, sibling relationships, parent-child relationships, couples and family relationships, physical abuse, sexual abuse, conjugal violence and children with special needs. Deborah has a passion for working with people and being able to really connect and listen to them in a comfortable and safe environment.
Deborah has clinical experience in the spheres of individual and family therapy, youth protection and working with special needs children and their families. All of her past experiences have contributed to her ability to work with a systems theory and solution-focused approach, while keeping her client at the
core.
Deborah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work from McGill University. Deborah is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from McGill. Deborah has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses the Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. Deborah is a member in good standing of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec.
