COUNSELLOR

Alexander is in the process of obtaining his psychotherapy permit and is licensed by the OCCOQ. 

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Concordia University. 

Alexander has received extensive internship training at the Argyle Institute in Psychodynamic Therapy. Additionally, he is trained in Mindfulness, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Integrative Therapy. Currently, he is undergoing training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. 

 

He is well-versed in multiculturalism, encompassing Asian, Latin American, Afro-American and Caribbean, European, Indigenous, and Arabic cultures. Furthermore, Alexander is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. 

 

With over 10 years of experience, Alexander has worked with children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges. He has provided services in seven different high schools across the Montreal region. 

 

Alexander has assisted clients dealing with disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, family issues, emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, bereavement, unemployment, early life trauma, stress, anger management, psychological well-being, workplace issues, and relationship maintenance challenges. 

 

Alexander takes great pleasure in working with clients, offering a safe space for them to share their stories and discover methods to overcome their challenges.
