Taryn Perelmiter is an MA Candidate in School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University. Her research focuses on validating a new tool to measure attention in neurotypical and neurodiverse populations. Taryn is completing her training in conducting psychoeducational assessments for children and youth with attention, learning, and behavioural difficulties.

 

She is completing a year-long practicum at McGill’s Psychoeducational and Counselling Clinic and is providing academic  assessments for neurodiverse students at Summit School, where she previously worked as the Research Coordinator. Taryn strives to create an inclusive environment that is compassionate, authentic, and sensitive to children and their family’s needs.
